About Us
The Lake County Early Childhood PTA (LCECPTA) is a non-profit organization providing a social, supportive, informative outlet for parents and their children. Membership includes activities such as local children's outings & activities, play groups, educational events, theme parties, and social events for moms and dads, plus national PTA membership benefits.
LCECPTA is a local unit of the Ohio PTA and National PTA. We are not affiliated with any specific preschool or day care facility. We welcome members from Lake County and the surrounding areas who have children ages birth - 6 years, or who are expecting. We welcome families of any race, color, national or ethnic origin.

LCECPTA shares the objectives of the National PTA and Ohio PTA. These objectives are:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education
